Baseball Recap: East Carter Comes Up Short

East Carter lost against Raceland back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Raiders came up short against the Rams, falling 12-2. Raiders fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Rams since on Tuesday.

East Carter has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-10 record this season. As for Raceland, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 20-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Carter will square off against Blazer at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Raceland, they will head out to face off against Huntington at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams are facing the Highlanders at the right time seeing as the Highlanders are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
