After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Clarkrange, Pickett County was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Oneida Indians as they made off with a 19-12 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bobcats as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
Brody Pryor was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over 6.1 innings while giving up four earned (and five unearned) runs off six hits. Pryor was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his six plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs.
In other batting news, Pickett County let Jaxon Smith and Jayden Daniels run wild. Smith got on base in all six of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs, while Daniels got on base in five of his six plate appearances with five stolen bases, four runs, and four RBI.
