The biggest upset of the week belonged to Glen Rock, who defeated 182nd ranked Elmwood Park, 48-26. Jeff Kopyta threw for 202 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 225 yards in the win.

Fans got a thrill when Emmanuel Appiah and Keyshawn Fowler connected against Rutherford. The connection went for 70 yards, the longest such play in North Jersey - Colonial this season.

The Panthers' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Kopyta contributed 225 yards. Sean McInerney helped Glen Rock's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 85 yards.

The Rams' offense has racked up 106 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Hawthorne has allowed only 34 on the year.

One of the league's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when the Crusaders and the Bulldogs face off next week.

An important game coming up in North Jersey - Colonial this week will be when Lodi takes on the Bears. Pat Tirico's team is currently in first, while Hawthorne is in fourth.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Rams take on John Passero's team. Lodi has allowed 38 points this season, while the Bears have given up 34. The Rams allowed 12 points last week as they beat Rutherford.

Lodi's Potoczak rumbled for the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against Andrew Howell's team last week. Potoczak's team bested the Bulldogs as he sprinted for 90 yards on the play and finished with 130 in all.
