Basketball Recap: West Valley Christian's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

West Valley Christian had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past the Telesis Prep Tigers with a 34-30 victory on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 22-19 back in December of 2024.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Karma Daigle, who posted ten points. Sam Krasnopolskiy was another key player, putting up nine points.

West Valley Christian's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8. As for Telesis Prep, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Valley Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Mission Heights Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Telesis Prep, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Varsity Opponent at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
