Volleyball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial's tournament run continued when they took on Dominguez on Friday. The Centennial Apaches came up short against the Dominguez Dons, falling 3-0. The Apaches have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Centennial was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-22, 25-18.

Centennial now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Dominguez, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, Centennial is taking a road trip to square off against Compton at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dominguez, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Compton Early College at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
