Baseball Recap: Liberty Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Liberty Christian Academy lost against Wayne Christian back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Heat came up short against the Eagles, falling 16-1.

Conner Taylor made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

Liberty Christian Academy now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Wayne Christian, they pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Liberty Christian Academy will face off against Coastal Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wayne Christian, they will challenge Greenfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
