For the second straight game, Mount View will face off against Greater Beckley Christian. The Golden Knights will challenge the Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mount View is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Mount View's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Greater Beckley Christian on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Golden Knights have lost by exactly five runs.

Hunter Muncy spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, Mount View saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Little, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Mount View's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Greater Beckley Christian, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Mount View has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 7.2 stolen bases per game.
