Volleyball Recap: Bentonville West Falls Short Against Ranked Har-Ber + How To Watch

Bentonville West faced Har-Ber in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Wolverines took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

While Bentonville West had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 15-25, 25-20.

Audrey Calva paced Bentonville West's offense, picking up 23 kills. Calva got some help from Olivia Hamm and her 23 assists. Laney Chilton controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Bentonville West has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-11 record this season. As for Har-Ber, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-12 record this season.
