Stanhope Elmore and Prattville are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2021, but not for long. Having just played yesterday, the Mustangs will get right back to it and host the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Stanhope Elmore put up the most points they have all season on Thursday. They snuck past Pike Road with a 73-67 victory.

Prattville hadn't beaten Wetumpka on the road since December 3, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Lions secured a 68-63 W over the Indians.

Stanhope Elmore better keep an eye on Deshawn Hall. He was instrumental in Prattville's win, dropping a double-double with 38 points and 16 rebounds. Hall is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least ten every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jersey Farbes, who posted 12 points.

Prattville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 20 offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Prattville's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Stanhope Elmore, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Stanhope Elmore came up short against Prattville when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 78-65. Thankfully for the Mustangs, Xavier Dunn (who shot 47% from the field on his way to 26 points along with six rebounds and four steals) won't be suiting up this time.
