Springboro was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Paintsville on Tuesday. Springboro blew past Paintsville 19-2. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won four matchups by 13 runs or more so far this season.
Springboro got a massive performance out of Kylene Seibel, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. That home run marked the first that Seibel launched this season. Another player making a difference was Bella Miller, who fired off two triples, two runs, and two doubles while going 4-for-4.
Springboro always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .656. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Paintsville only posted an OBP of .389.
Springboro's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Paintsville, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
