Rivercrest has gone 8-2 against Harrisburg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Colts are taking a road trip to square off against the Hornets at 4:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, Rivercrest came up short against Walnut Ridge and fell 9-5.

Emme Weldon was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Addison Johnson, who scored a run while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Harrisburg earned a 7-3 victory over Manila on Tuesday. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Hawlee Morris spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on 11 hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Hannah Mross was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Sofie Mooney also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Harrisburg pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Rivercrest, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-6.

Rivercrest might still be hurting after the 13-3 defeat they got from Harrisburg in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Colts avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
