Baseball Recap: Tri-County Academy Finds Playoff Glory Versus North Delta

Tri-County Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the North Delta Green Wave by a score of 8-5 on Friday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 9-7 victory on Thursday.

Hayden Smith was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Brayden Walsh was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

The victory made it two in a row for Tri-County Academy and bumps their season record up to 28-6. As for North Delta, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 26-13.

As of now, neither Tri-County Academy nor the Green Wave have any future games scheduled.
