Baseball Game Preview: Norwich Purple Tornado vs. Susquehanna Valley Sabers

For the second straight game, Norwich will face off against Susquehanna Valley. The Purple Tornado are headed away from home for the first time to square off against the Sabers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Norwich has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with 17 straight losses, while Susquehanna Valley will come in with three straight wins.

Monday just wasn't the day for Norwich's offense. They lost 15-0 to Susquehanna Valley on Monday.

For Susquehanna Valley's part, not much got past Colin Trotter, who gave up just three hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Norwich off the board. Trotter has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Trey Swartwout was a standout: he went 4-for-5 with six RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Chris Koedatich, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5.

Susquehanna Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Norwich, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
