Volleyball Game Preview: Williams Vikings vs. Ash Fork Spartans

The Williams Vikings are taking a road trip to face off against the Ash Fork Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Williams will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Williams took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Salome, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Frogs 3-2 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Ash Fork didn't have quite enough to beat Mogollon on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Williams' victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Ash Fork, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.

Williams might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Ash Fork when the teams last played back in September. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
