Baseball Recap: Grant Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Grant's offense. They lost 7-0 to the Campbell Hall Vikings on Wednesday. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grant saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Fernando Padilla, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Grant suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 5-2. As for Campbell Hall, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Grant will challenge Monroe at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Campbell Hall will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Chula Vista at 4:00 p.m. on March 31st.
