Basketball Recap: Asheville Falls to Dobyns-Bennett in First Game of Season

Asheville kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a blow against the Dobyns-Bennett Indians, falling 109-30. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Asheville lost, don't look at Ford Daniels. Despite the final result, he posted ten points and six rebounds.

Coming up, Asheville will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on McDowell at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dobyns-Bennett, they will square off against Tellico Plains at 4:40 p.m. on Saturday.
