Football Game Preview: Panther Creek Panthers vs. Aubrey Chaparrals + How To Watch

The Panther Creek Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Aubrey Chaparrals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Panther Creek's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last three games.

Two weeks ago, Panther Creek didn't have too much trouble with Lake Dallas as they won 31-13. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Panthers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while the Falcons are ranked 302nd).

A big part of Panther Creek's victory came down to the chemistry between Graylyn Fry and his top target Donovan Webb. Fry threw for 221 yards and one TD while Webb rushed for 101 yards and one score. What's more, Fry posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in August.

Meanwhile, Aubrey posted their closest win since November 22, 2024 on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lake Dallas, sneaking past 14-11. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chaparrals.

Panther Creek's record is now 7-1. As for Aubrey, their record now sits at 3-6.

Panther Creek barely slipped by Aubrey when the teams last played back in November of 2024, winning 41-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
