Volleyball Recap: Trion Takes a Loss

Trion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Darlington Tigers. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14.

Trion's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Darlington, they pushed their record up to 28-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Trion will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on LaFayette at 5:00 p.m. on the 30th. As for Darlington, they will venture away from home to face off against Dade County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
