Baseball Recap: Minnetonka Continues Road Dominance on Monday

Minnetonka entered their tilt with Eden Prairie on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 9-5. The Skippers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Jack Butterworth looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Minnetonka saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Humphreys Miles, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that Miles has hit this season. Carter Storts was another, earning one RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
