Basketball Recap: Myrtle Beach Find Success

Myrtle Beach lost to Socastee back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Myrtle Beach Seahawks walked away with a 58-50 win over the Socastee Braves.

Myrtle Beach's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Socastee, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.

Myrtle Beach and Socastee could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings. Myrtle Beach (ranked 94th) will meet Carolina Forest (ranked 27th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Socastee will challenge Conway at 7:30 p.m. on Friday down 47 places (64 vs. 17).
