Softball Game Preview: Neptune vs. Trinity Hall

Neptune will head out to challenge Trinity Hall at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Neptune came up short against Brick Township on Monday, falling 9-3. Neptune hasn't had much luck with Brick Township recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Megan Rogers was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with six stolen bases and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Miah Quarles, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Meanwhile, Trinity Hall lost 11-1 to Toms River North on Monday.

Trinity Hall's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Neptune, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-3.

Neptune might still be hurting after the 18-2 loss they got from Trinity Hall in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Can Neptune avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
