Wilbur-Creston-Keller had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Almira-Coulee-Hartline on Tuesday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win.

While Wilbur-Creston-Keller won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-15, 25-21.

Brystal Neilsen paced Wilbur-Creston-Keller's offense, picking up seven kills. Neilsen got some help from Callie Cousins and her 22 assists. Lexi Rimpler controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Wilbur-Creston-Keller's victory bumped their record up to 4-1-1. As for Almira-Coulee-Hartline, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2-1.
