Volleyball Recap: Foothill Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Foothill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mira Monte Lions. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Foothill actually scored more points across those five sets (104-101), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-20, 25-22, 16-25, 15-12.

Foothill's loss dropped their record down to 2-16-1. As for Mira Monte, with the win, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-14.

Coming up, Foothill will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against West at 6:30 p.m. As for Mira Monte, they will head out to face off against Golden Valley at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
