Volleyball Preview: Ashville Bulldogs vs. Sardis Lions
Ashville and Sardis are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2018, but not for long. The Ashville Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Sardis Lions at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ashville will be strutting in after a win while Sardis will be coming in after a loss.
Last Saturday, Ashville had just enough and edged St. Clair County out 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.
Meanwhile, Sardis didn't have quite enough to beat Glencoe on Tuesday and fell 2-1. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Sardis sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 20-25, 15-11.
Ashville's victory bumped their record up to 19-20. As for Sardis, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11.
