Preview: Sheridan Generals vs. John Glenn Little Muskies
Sheridan is 8-2 against John Glenn since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Sheridan Generals will head out on the road to face off against the John Glenn Little Muskies at 7:30 p.m. Sheridan will be strutting in after a win while John Glenn will be coming in after a loss.
Even though Philo scored an imposing 61 points on Tuesday, Sheridan still came out on top. Sheridan snuck past Philo with a 67-61 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Sheridan.
Meanwhile, John Glenn was the victim of a tough 62-38 loss at the hands of Tri-Valley on Tuesday.
Despite their defeat, John Glenn saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Caleb Larrick, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Winland, who scored eight points.
Sheridan pushed their record up to 2-0 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for John Glenn, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Sheridan didn't have too much breathing room in their match against John Glenn in their previous meeting back in February, but they still walked away with a 39-33 victory. Will Sheridan repeat their success, or does John Glenn have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
