Lutheran South Academy strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past The Woodlands Christian Academy Warriors 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Pioneers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15, 25-21.

Lutheran South Academy found their leader in sophomore Charlie Marsico, who had 17 digs and five assists. Those 17 digs set a new season-high mark for Marsico.

Lutheran South Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for The Woodlands Christian Academy, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Lutheran South Academy will head out to take on Episcopal at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for The Woodlands Christian Academy, they will welcome FBCHA at 6:30 p.m. on the 28th.
