Softball Game Preview: Mooresville Christian Eagles vs. Irvington Preparatory Academy

The Mooresville Christian Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge Irvington Preparatory Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Mooresville Christian and seven for Irvington Preparatory Academy dating back to last season.

Mooresville Christian came up short against Traders Point Christian on Friday, falling 21-6.

Lincoln Shockley made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Irvington Preparatory Academy lost 19-6 to Morristown on Saturday.

Irvington Preparatory Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailey Cline, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Irvington Preparatory Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mooresville Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
