Volleyball Recap: Grand Valley Falls Despite Big Games from Kyleigh Hernandez and Alexa Navarro + How To Watch

Grand Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Cedaredge Bruins, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

Grand Valley's loss came despite strong showings from Alexa Navarro and Kyleigh Hernandez. Navarro had ten digs, while Hernandez had four digs and three assists. Navarro is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 13 games she's played.

Grand Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Cedaredge, their win ended a five-match drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-9.

Grand Valley has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Plateau Valley on the 21st. As for Cedaredge, they will head out to square off against Roaring Fork at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
