Basketball Recap: Mission's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Mission won the last time they faced Roma and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Mission Eagles walked away with a 49-39 victory over the Roma Gladiators. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Roma lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Alexa Verastegui, who posted 14 points and six rebounds. Verastegui has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Ayssa Rios was another key player, putting up seven points and five boards.
