Ngonkra Fuangunyi Delivers Best Performance of Season
Ngonkra Fuangunyi produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Empire to the win on Friday. Fuangunyi rushed for 224 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up two sacks and making three total tackles.
Cholla had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Fuangunyi it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Fuangunyi saw the Chargers), he rushed for 143 yards and two touchdowns.

Miguel Estrada produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Amphitheater to the win on Friday. Estrada rushed for 122 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 66 yards.
The victory (which was Amphitheater's third in a row) raised their record to 5-4. Estrada and Amphitheater are taking a road trip to take on Sahuarita at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Williams Came Up Big in Amphitheater's 31-14 Win
Isaac Williams posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He picked up 37 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 81 yards. He didn't just play on offense: he also made seven total tackles and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
For the season, Williams has averaged 32.5 rushing yards per game.

Sahuarita Wins Fourth-Straight Thanks to Alden Fox
