Basketball Recap: Imlay City Comes Up Short

Imlay City lost against Croswell-Lexington last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Imlay City Spartans fell 53-41 to the Croswell-Lexington Pioneers.

When it comes to explaining why Imlay City lost, don't look at Addison Cameron. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Alexis Bruyere, who posted 15 points.

Imlay City's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Croswell-Lexington, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-6.

Imlay City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 63-38 loss against Yale on the 25th. As for Croswell-Lexington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-40 win against Algonac on the 25th.
