Abingdon/Avon won the last time they faced Havana and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tornadoes came out on top against the Ducks by a score of 7-4. The victory was nothing new for the Tornadoes as they're now sitting on five straight.

The team relied heavily on Owen Timmons, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Abingdon/Avon is undefeated when Timmons posts three or more RBI, but 2-3 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Andrew, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Abingdon/Avon pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.8 runs over those games. As for Havana, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Coming up, Abingdon/Avon will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Bushnell-Prairie City at 4:30 p.m. As for Havana, they will head out to face off against Peoria Heights at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. This will be the Ducks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
