Delta is 8-2 against New Castle since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The two teams will face off at 7:00 p.m. without much rest, having both just played. That game will pit two of the most dominant forwards against one another: Jordan Furney and Landon Thompson.

Delta is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Yorktown by a score of 49-39. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, New Castle came into Friday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against Connersville on Friday as New Castle made off with a 61-41 victory. The Trojans not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since January 4th.

Delta's win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for New Castle, their victory bumped their record up to 9-14.

Delta was able to grind out a solid win over New Castle in their previous meeting back in February, winning 58-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Delta since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
