Clayton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They never let the Gloucester City Lions get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Clayton might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

Clayton's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Gloucester City, they moved to 6-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Clayton will head out to take on Pitman at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clayton will be up against Pitman's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.67 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Gloucester City, they will venture away from home to challenge Gateway Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
