Basketball Recap: Live Oak Lions vs. Las Plumas Thunderbirds

Live Oak lost against Las Plumas back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Live Oak Lions took a blow against the Las Plumas Thunderbirds, falling 62-34. T.J. Thompson was his usual excellent self, putting up 17 points and eight steals for Las Plumas. The contest was Thompson's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Casmir Jones, who went 6 of 13 en route to 17 points.

Live Oak's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7. As for Las Plumas, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
