Basketball Recap: Macedonian Christian Gets the Win

After losing to Varsity Opponent the last time they met, Macedonian Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Macedonian Christian came out on top against Varsity Opponent by a score of 31-21 on Saturday.

Sara Alonzo continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 14 points. Another player making a difference was Elisa Martinez, who posted seven points.

Macedonian Christian's victory bumped their record up to 11-9.

Macedonian Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Harvest Christian at 5:30 p.m. on February 6th. Harvest Christian will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Macedonian Christian surely won't give up without a fight. Varsity Opponent has already played their next matchup, a 56-37 loss against Wilson on the 26th.
