If Snake River was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Marsh Valley last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers fell just short of the Preston Indians by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Snake River sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-20, 23-25, 15-8.

Aydyn Anderson paced Snake River's offense, picking up 11 kills. Anderson really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 13. Finally, Samantha Goodwin kept Snake River's defense grounded, leading the team with nine blocks.

Snake River's defeat dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Preston, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-7.
