             Discovery is 0-10 against Cedar Shoals since September of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Wednesday. The Discovery Titans are on the road again  to play the Cedar Shoals Jaguars at 5:30  p.m. Discovery is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4  runs per game  this season.
 Discovery is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have all season. They fell just short of Meadowcreek by a score of  16-15 on Tuesday.
  Kendall Cross made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-5. With that strong performance,  she is now averaging an impressive 1.2  stolen bases per game. Another player making a difference was  Alayna Bradley, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
 Even though they lost, Discovery was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .389. The last time their  batting average was this high was  was before  the start of last season.
 Meanwhile, Cedar Shoals was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight  defeat. They lost  12-0 to Clarke Central.
 Cedar Shoals saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Amelia Hembree, who  went 1-for-1 with a  stolen base.
 Discovery's record is now 0-5. As for Cedar Shoals, their record is now 1-13.
