Volleyball Recap: McDonough Comes Up Short

McDonough was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Madison County Red Raiders.

McDonough was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 13 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-13.

McDonough's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Madison County, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

McDonough has already played their next game (against Franklin County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Madison County, they will head out on the road to square off against Hart County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
