Pawnee City is headed into Tuesday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They took a blow against Exeter-Milligan/Friend on Tuesday, falling 68-28. The game marked the Indians' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

The losing side was boosted by Anthony Kling, who posted 14 points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer entered their tilt with Diller-Odell on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 40-33 win over the Griffin.

Pawnee City's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.

Pawnee City strolled past Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a score of 54-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pawnee City since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
