Volleyball Recap: Leakey Find Success

Leakey saw some tournament action on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Marion Bulldogs 2-1.

Hayden Rimkus paced Leakey's offense, picking up seven kills. Rimkus got some help from Isabella Farmer and her 14 assists. Rimkus was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Leakey's win bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Marion, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-8.

Leakey has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Fredericksburg on the 6th. As for Marion, they will host Wagner at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
