Forestview's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the North Gaston Wildcats. The Jaguars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-9, 19-25, 25-21.

Forestview found their leader in freshman Lillie Nesheim, who had six digs and two aces. Madison Barnes also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Forestview was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in six consecutive contests.

Forestview's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for North Gaston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forestview will challenge Kings Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mountaineers will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Gaston, they will venture away from home to square off against Huss at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
