Softball Recap: Biggersville Takes a Loss

Biggersville managed to slip by Alcorn Central the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions came up short against the Bears on Saturday, falling 11-1. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Lions couldn't push the score so high this time.

With the defeat, Biggersville broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-9. As for Alcorn Central, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Biggersville will face off against Tremont at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alcorn Central, they will venture away from home to square off against Wheeler at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
