Preview: Fleming County vs. Greenup County
On Friday, Fleming County are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Greenup County at 7:30 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Fleming County, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Everything went Fleming County's way against Mason County last Friday as they made off with a 35-14 win. Fleming County was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, Greenup County had enough points to win and then some against Russell last week, winning 41-21.
Their wins bumped Fleming County to 1-1 and Greenup County to 2-0. Keep an eye on the score for this one : both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
