It was a good run, but Divine Child unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 72-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish. The Falcons were probably out for revenge after losing 78-70 to them when the teams met back in February of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Divine Child now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Notre Dame Prep, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Divine Child will host Lutheran North at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Notre Dame Prep, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Genesee Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Notre Dame Prep is facing Genesee Christian at the right time seeing as Genesee Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
