Softball Recap: Pelham Memorial Takes a Loss

Pelham Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-0 to the Sleepy Hollow Horsemen. The Pelicans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Horsemen apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Pelham Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Sleepy Hollow, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1.

Pelham Memorial and Sleepy Hollow will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Pelicans will challenge rival Rye at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sleepy Hollow is set to face off against their familiar foe Ardsley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
