Bethel had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Urbana on Thursday. The Bees were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hillclimbers. The Bees have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hillclimbers, too.

Bethel was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 25-11.

Layla Moore paced Bethel's offense, picking up ten kills. Moore got some help from Annabelle Adams and her 14 assists. Adams was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Bethel's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Urbana, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Bethel will square off against Benjamin Logan at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Urbana, they will face off against Greeneview at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
