Baseball Game Preview: San Joaquin Memorial Panthers vs. Bullard Knights

San Joaquin Memorial is 1-9 against Bullard since April of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Panthers will challenge the Knights at 3:30 p.m.

San Joaquin Memorial fell victim to Madera and their airtight pitching crew last Thursday. They came up short against the Coyotes, falling 10-0. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bullard, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over El Camino Real on Wednesday.

Bullard is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for San Joaquin Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

San Joaquin Memorial might still be hurting after the 11-1 defeat they got from Bullard in their previous matchup on April 4th. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
