Football Recap: Kadoka Starts Season with Win at Home

Kadoka gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They snuck past the Lyman Raiders with an 18-14 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Kougars also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Kadoka was led to victory by Kole Hermann and Karson Eisenbraun. Hermann gained 99 total yards and two touchdowns, while Eisenbraun threw for 87 yards and one TD. The dominant performance also gave Eisenbraun a new career-high in rushing yards (24).

Lyman's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Kadoka is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Wall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lyman, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jones County at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
