Bishop Manogue had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Reno Huskies. That's more bragging rights for the Miners, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bishop Manogue walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 17-25, 25-12, 29-27.

Bishop Manogue's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Reno, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coming up, Bishop Manogue will challenge Granite Bay at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Reno, they will be taking part in a tournament against Escalon at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
